Baby Loves Jazz
What happens when you take some of the hottest musicians in the New York jazz scene and create a CD of kids' music? Toe-tapping, finger-snapping tunes like the rowdy "Old MacDonald", bluesy "Lullaby Jazz", and danceable "Go Baby Go". This clever CD is one in a series created by Andy Blackman Hurwitz, slated to include others for disco, salsa, reggae, and hip-hop. The idea is to teach kids about various genres of music and this one succeeds beautifully. Mixed among the tunes are creative interludes highlighting specific jazz instruments.
