50 Below Zero (Munsch for Kids)

by Dianna Johnston

Jason is awakened in the night by a strange noise. When he investigates, he finds his sleepwalking father sleeping on top of the refrigerator. Jason yells for his father to wake up, and his father jumps up, runs around the kitchen three times and then goes back to bed. This scenario repeats itself over and over, and each time Jason finds his father in a situation that is even crazier than the last.

Eventually, Jason decides he has to keep his father safe. He uses a rope to tie his father's big toe to the bed and then falls asleep yet again. Soon, his mother is awakened by a strange noise. You'll have to read the book yourself to find out what it is!

My son and I really enjoyed this book. The illustrations were great. Altogether, the story was very silly and very entertaining.
