Bubba and Beau Meet the Relatives
In this third book of the series, Bubba and Beau meet the relatives.
"Bubbaville", as the family house is affectionately referred to, becomes a flurry of activity once Mama gets the call that the relatives are coming for a visit!
In an attempt to escape all of the chaotic cooking and cleaning, Bubba and his dog Beau head off to their beloved mud hole in the garden. Little time passes before Mama finds them and drags them off to get cleaned and polished.
The family finally arrives and much 'ooooing' and 'aahhhing' over everyone and everything begins. Bubba and his cousin Arlene find a way to get out of their uncomfortable outfits, and eventually the whole family enjoys a more relaxed, really fun, SURPRISE family get together!
Made up of 5 short chapters, this is a wonderful first chapter book. Its story is very cute and humorous, and Bubba and Cousin Arlene are simply adorable. We look forward to reading the rest of the series.
