Dear Tooth Fairy

by Lisa Nothnagel

A lovely tale about a girl and the tooth fairy!

We hit the jackpot with this book! My daughter, age 5 just lost her first two teeth, so this book was like a dream come true for her. She loved everything about this book, and couldn't wait to see what was going to be on the next page. (I must add that I too was a little excited.)

The book is, of course, about the tooth fairy and a little girl named Holly. Holly has lost her first tooth so she has to decide if she should give it to the tooth fairy and get a coin or keep the tooth because she likes it and wants to keep it. She decides to put some plastic vampire fangs under her pillow instead, but can the tooth fairy be tricked that easily?

Holly has lots of questions for the tooth fairy before she'll part with her beloved first tooth. In the end, everyone ends up happy and you, the reader, get to keep the REAL fairy gifts and letters (included in the book)!

The illustrations are nice, but skewed more towards girls with lots of twinkles and pink pages. The envelopes that the tooth fairy letters come in are also bright pink, but expect these to rip.

With its irresistibly interactive notes and maps and such, it's just too bad that the publishers didn't use a more child resistant material, because this book will surely be read several times over.
