Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

by Jillian Gregory

It all started with the return of the Dark Mark. The Dark Mark is a disastrous sign that Voldemort could return and be stronger than ever. J.K. Rowling once again pleases readers in this fourth installment of the Harry Potter series. This year Harry deals with crazy teachers, the Triwizard Tournament and sparks an interest in girls.

The Triwizard Tournament is the central event in the book, which involves students from other schools of Witchcraft and Wizardy besides Hogwarts. Through fate and perhaps evil intervention Harry is chosen to represent Hogwarts and compete in several death defying "tasks." He trains intensely all the while keeping his eye on a fellow female student that has caught his attention.

A new teacher, named Mad-Eye Moody, is introduced and without giving anything away I'll just say "don't read a book by its cover." Believe me, there's more to Mad-Eye Moody then just his eyes.

The Triwizard Tournament tasks are so intense that life and death are on the line. And sadly one of the Hogwarts Witchcraft and Wizardy students could meet his fate far before his time.

Once again, this Harry Potter adventure is sure to satisfy and entice the reader to keep reading long into the night. It is a definite "must have" to add to your Harry Potter collection.
