Henry's Show and Tell

by Jodi Gallegos

Can Henry overcome his shyness and participate in show-and-tell?

Henry is in kindergarten. He likes school and all the activities, but when it is time for show-and-tell Henry gets very nervous. He starts to shake and can't think of anything to say. Henry's teacher, Ms. Bradley developes a plan to help Henry overcome his shyness. Henry goes home to select his favorite object and practice for the next day's show-and-tell. Will he be able to do it?

"Henry's Show and Tell" is a fun and humorous story. It easily grabs the attention of the 3-6 year old age group. The twists in the story line draw them along and appeal to their sense of humor. My three-year-old son was thrilled with Henry's show-and-tell object and the surprising events that occur. It is also a fun book for adults to read, over and over if necessary. This could be a helpful book for shy children or those about to start school. The illustrations are bright and vibrant and even appealed to my 1-year-old. "Henry's Show and Tell" is a very pleasant addition to any child's collection.
