Marvin Wanted More!
In a world of happy frolicking sheep, Marvin is the odd one out. He feels as though he's just not good enough because he is too small -- so he decides that it is time to make some very drastic changes!
Gradually, Marvin gets bigger and bigger. He finds himself running faster and jumping higher than any of his peers; but Marvin takes his quest for self-improvement too far and makes matters worse, for not only himself, but for the entire world! Thankfully he is able to set things straight before it is too late. He learns that it is okay not to be the fastest or the biggest. He learns to love Marvin for Marvin, and not for what he looks like or for any one of the individual things that he can or cannot do.
This is a nice story about self-acceptance that kids and adults alike will enjoy. Its illustrations are large, colorful and humorous making this a book that will be read time and time again.
