Monsters Party All Night Long

by Amber Johns

Throwing a party is a sure way to have friends come over and enjoy just being together eating delicious monster treats and dancing to monster music. Yes, it is good to have friends, even for monsters.

The three-dimensional illustrations compliment an entertaining multi-dimensional book. A lonely Count Drac is lonely despite his famous name. Monsters Party All Night Long provides a rhythm of rhyming words and likable monsters that just want to get together for one big ghoulish party.

This book will not be a book just for the children involved. Adult readers will appreciate the detailed and beautiful illustrations as well as the story itself.

Read away and see if you can keep up with the funky rapping mummies or the disco dancing werewolf. For some reason, monsters seem a lot less scary when there is a party involved.

The creativity of the story surrounds the likable and slightly scary famous monsters. Unfortunately Frankenstein will be unable to attend due to the flu and will miss out on some great horror d'oeuvres.

This book may just cure any child of their night-time jitters. If there are monsters under the bed, maybe they are just waiting for a party invitation.
