Peter Pan and Wendy: One-Hundredth Anniversary Edition

by Candice Cooper

When Peter Pan flies through the window of the Darling children's nursery in search of his lost shadow it is only the beginning of many magical adventures for them all. Wendy and her two brothers, John and Michael, travel to Neverland with Peter where they meet the "Lost Boys" who are orphan children that live with Peter underground and to whom Wendy becomes 'mother.' Together they embark on a series of adventures involving several inhabitants of Neverland Island.

Tinkerbell is a mischievous fairy who is very jealous of Wendy because of Peter's devotion to her. The Redskin Braves and Tiger Lily are a group of Indian children who feud with Peter and the Lost boys. The pirates aboard the Jolly Roger and their leader, the infamous Captain Hook, are constantly at war with the entire population of Neverland.

Tick Tock, the crocodile, spends his time following Captain Hook everywhere in hopes of consuming the rest of the Captain ever since he got his first taste of him by biting off his hand. All these colorful characters lend their own personality to J.M. Barrie's richly detailed story. "Peter Pan and Wendy" is a timeless classic with something for the entire family.

Drama, magic, humor, sadness, joy and fun fill the pages of this lovely well-written and beautifully illustrated book. It deserves a special place on your personal library shelf. You don't READ "Peter Pan and Wendy," you EXPERIENCE it.
