Sammy Keyes and the Hotel Thief
What would you do if you caught somebody sneaking around your room rummaging through your desk and drawers? Would you call the police? But what if the thief knew that YOU saw them?
That's just what happened to smart, mystery solver Sammy Keyes. She spied someone across the street stealing a wallet. The thief saw her. She wanted to tell the police, but couldn't for three reasons. One, she was using her Grandma's binoculars, which she wasn't supposed to play with. Two, she was spying from her Grandma's apartment, where she wasn't supposed to live. Three, she could have told the police, but they wouldn't believe her anyway. So what was she to do? Solve the case herself of course!
Sammy and her best friend Marissa hunt for clues and sneak into slimy hotels searching for the mysterious wallet thief. Suspense fills each chapter as Sammy hides from nosey neighbors and the police.
There is also a school bully by the name of Heather that bugs Sammy every day at school. Heather's tricks are low down and dirty. To get even, Sammy pull humorous pranks on Heather that will have you laughing out loud.
