Show and Tell
This is a hilarious tale of a boy named Benjamin who stuffs his little sister in his knapsack and takes her to school for show and tell. All is well until Benjamin's sister wakes up with a wail!
First Benjamin's teacher tries to comfort the poor baby, to no avail. Next, comes the principal and a doctor, but nothing works. Baby sister is crying louder than ever. Benjamin calls his mother in a panic, but mother is in a panic herself, for the baby is lost. Benjamin tells his mother the baby is not lost, he just brought her to school for show and tell!
Mother runs to school and saves the day. Benjamin and mother take baby sister home, sound asleep. Benjamin's class decides bringing strange things for show and tell. It is quite fun, and fills the class with items from dragons to pigs!
Robert Munsch weaves a fantastically funny story with this delightful book. His use of "kid friendly" language will make it a hit on any kid's list. Michael Martchenko's colorful illustrations bring the humor in this story to life.
