Simon Welcomes Spring is about a boy named Simon who is anxious for spring to arrive and tries to find ways to get it to come quicker.
While the illustrations are lovely, the story is lacking.
I love books. They expose children to new words and phrases. They get you to use your imagination. They help young readers grow to be adult readers. Some books just don't offer any reason for a toddler to sit long enough to hear the story, though. This is one of those books. This is one of "those" books that you save for bedtime and read when the little one is already half asleep.
