Snappy Little Christmas: Have the Best Christmas Ever!

by Amber Johns

Reading about Christmas is fun, but reading about Christmas with pop-up characters is even better.

Christmas is one of the most highly anticipated holidays of the year and this book falls into perfect rythym with the excitement that surfaces as December 25th approaches. A snowman jumps off the page to begin the short story. Each turn of the page is a colorful and three-dimensional treat. My favorite page is the excited reindeer, whose red nose is all too familiar. His antlers fly off the page, this pop up is not for beginners. These pop-ups are big and colorful...so be ready! The youngest of children will enjoy the colors and fun characters while beginner readers may enjoy reading through pop-up land.

The Christmas season is described in simple rhyming words as you read about carolers, presents, ice skating, decorating the Christmas tree and of course that big, red package under the tree that just might be for you.

In the end, a huge pop-up Santa wishes everyone a Merry Christmas. Of course, this book might be a great present to put underneath that tree as well.
