Spider-Man 2 - Doc Ock's Shock
Got a Spider-Man fanatic at home? Would that fanatic be freaked out by the actual movie? Yup, I have one of those at home too. Luckily for me, he's perfectly happy with his Spider-Man T-shirt and this Spider-Man activity book.
Like a lot of movie tie-in books, this one concentrates on only one aspect of the movie. In this case, it's Doc Ock (and isn't he the coolest part of the movie anyway?).
The book follows Doctor Octavius' use of his smart arms, the experiment gone wrong, the creation of Doc Ock, his crime spree, and his battles with Spider-Man.
The activities include colouring, connect-the-dots, mazes, matching games, spot the difference, and what's wrong with this picture? There's also a Spider-Man iron-on for the T-shirt that's required by all young fans.
Although obviously nowhere near as intense as the movie, the activity book still contains suggestions of violence that some parents may not appreciate.
