Spider-Man 2: The Movie Storybook
I'm sure many children, especially boys, have gone to see the hit movie Spider-Man 2 this summer. This story book does a great job recapturing the movie. The story is about Spider-Man fighting a new villan, famed scientist Dr. Otto Octavius, or Doc Ock. Children read about Peter Parker and his daily struggle with being Spider-Man and also read about Spider-Man's exciting adventures.
The text is simple for children to read. The story was made less complex so that younger children could understand what they are in fact reading. My son was able to read most of the story by himself. He really enjoyed the pictures which are actual scenes from the movie. He liked the book so much that I noticed him picking it up more than once to re-read it or simply to look at the pictures.
If your child is a fan of Spider-Man, then I strongly recommend this action-filled book.
