Tell Me Again About the Night I Was Born

by Dianna Johnston

Adorable story written by Jamie Lee Curtis that addresses the issue of adoption and how parents can explain to their little one that he or she is adopted.

This story by Jamie Lee Curtis is about an adopted child who asks her parents to tell her again about the night she was born. As she asks for each detail, it quickly becomes obvious that the little girl has heard the tale many times and knows the story by heart. It also becomes obvious that the little girl loves the story and never tires of hearing it. It is a very heart-warming story that shows just how special this little girl is to her parents.

When I read this book, I couldn't help but think what a wonderful tool this story is for adoptive parents who wonder how to tell their child that he or she is adopted. I can't think of a better way to do it.
