The Best Class Picture Ever!

by Dayle Eisner

Without a teacher, and having just lost their class pet, class 202 is craving a little classroom cheer. Then along comes Mr. Click, the school photographer, who surprises them all with his actions. He knows exactly how to cheer "202" up, and is able to turn a terrible day, into the best picture day ever! This book is full of wonderful things. First of all, as a teacher, it is enjoyable to read because it is about a wild class that needs just the right kind of teaching to turn them around. In this way, it validates teachers in their belief that thereÕs no such thing as bad kids, only the wrong kind of guidance and direction. This book teaches children that a bad day can turn into a great day if you concentrate on the good things. The illustrations are vibrant, fun and exciting. Each picture has tons of adventures going on. The print is big so that it is easy to read, and the book is a good size for children to hold by themselves.

Pros

The story is wonderful and would lend itself nicely to any classroom.
