The Fairy-Spotter's Handbook

by Lori Plach

This is a handbook of fairies; the good, the bad and all the others in between.

So just what is a fairy? How can you spot a house fairy? How can you learn how to protect yourself from dangerous fairies? The "Fairy Spotters Handbook" addresses just those questions and many more. The book is filled with folklore and stories that originate many, many years ago.

There are many types of fairies listed. Some of them dance, while others clean houses. Some change their shapes, while others sing people to sleep. All fairies love treasures. Some are presumed to be friendly, while still others are very dangerous. The belief in fairies tends to stem from country people in Britain, Ireland and other parts of Europe, yet many different fairies are native to particular countries.

Fairies don't just resemble people. There are fairy horses and dogs as well. They fly by using magic but they also can get lost. So are fairies for real? Anything you ever wanted to know about fairies is here in this one handy book.
