The Sheep Fairy: When Wishes Have Wings
This is the perfect book for the typical toddler. I have yet to sit down with anyone under the age of 4 and have them sit through a story without rapidly turning pages and making up their own tale as they rush to the end.
This book was perfect for my 2-year-old audience, because the pictures are vibrant, and the story makes sense even if you only read pages 4 and 13. And the theme of the story, dreams, is always a great tangent springboard, which is an important factor of reading to a young audience.
If you can make it from beginning to end, you will like Wendy Woolcoat (our story's heroine) because she doesn't have to do a lot to be a happy and caring kind of sheep. And really, who doesn't want that?
