This story book is about a teacher who is all ready for school. Little does she know what wierd and funny things are in store for that day. This fun-filled and wacky book will make every reader, both young and old, laugh out loud!
As a teacher, I know how much hard work and preparation goes into organizing and planing each day of school. Reading this book to my children not only left me in stitches, but also made me realize that despite all the planning and preparation in the world, there are always events that can change the course of our plans.
This story is about a teacher who is all ready for school. However, once the school day begins, wacky events begin to happen which are out of her control. Things such as a pet snake that escapes, the ant farm that gets spilled over, cup cakes that flew through the classroom, clogged water fountains, buzzing bees that entered the classroom and much more! The story ends with the exhausted and frazzled teacher leaving the school and plopping herself into bed.
My children loved this story because of the repetitive lines on each page. On every page, the lines repeat themselves and keep building, addind a wacky new event to the previous one. On every page, the chaos and craziness builds up until the end. They also liked the funny, full-paged illustrations that accompany and compliment the story nicely.
I recommend this story to any child and parent who loves wacky stories and loves to laugh. This story will truely leave you in stitches!!
