To know the Nasty Gnarlies is to know... beauty?
How can you not love these three Gnarlies who claim that getting stuck in "yucky-muck" is what they like best. Well, easily I suppose, but that's the point of the book. That is, that beauty is in the eye of the beholder -- a timeless lesson for kids. Throw in a dash of be yourself, and don't let yourself be bullied by the opinions of others, and it would seem that Keith Graves has it all down.
Fun illustrations and delightful silly poetry make Three Nasty Gnarlies a worthwhile read, and a delightful addition to any child's library.
