Tote-Along Soft Shapes: Halloween Surprises

by Amber Johns

Halloween Surprises is fun for a variety of reasons for a variety of ages.

One-year-olds will enjoy the bright colors and the soft shapes that pop out of the book to reveal the candy shapes hidden behind them. Children will have the opportunity to learn shapes and how to match them up. Older toddlers may not even realize they are learning to count as they pop out the bats, cats and ghosts to see which character is hiding more candy. Every page is a new adventure with the theme of Halloween threading the short counting story together.

Which bat is hiding more candy? Pop out the bats and count how many pieces there are! Once your child becomes attached to his or her new counting candy book, it will be easy to take along. The book fits together like a lunchbox complete with handles that make it easy for toting around.

Tote-along Soft Shapes: Halloween Surprises is great for in the home or in the car...at least my toddler thinks so.
