Turtle and Snake's Spooky Halloween

Turtle and Snake are getting ready for their Halloween party. They have written a to-do list and need to finish everything on it. They need pumpkins, decorations and costumes. After they finish each item they move onto the next until all of them are done.
This is a level 1 book for beginning readers but also entertains younger children. The illustrations are simplistic but with bright, lively colors. The story demonstrates procedural thinking to kids ("What's next?"). Best of all is the recipe for Turtle and Snake's Spooky Pond Punch at the end. It is simple enough for kids to help make and has worms! (gummy worms)
