Uncle John's Book of Fun

by Jennifer Aboudi

I am a graduate of the "learn to read in the loo" program and truly believe that a bathroom without reading material is like blackboard with no chalk. Once a person has mastered the art of independent bathrooming, it's important to make the activity fun.

This book is an amalgam of puzzles and jokes sprinkled with silliness. No one will ever accuse the humor of being too highbrow, but it can conjure up smiles, possibly even laughter.

The puzzles break up the comedy in a friendly fashion and challenge without scaring you into the corner (not a great option for the lavatory anyway).

The activity pages scattered throughout are fun, although not all are bathroom appropriate.
