Unique Monique
Monique wants to stand out, a pretty tricky task in her school, until one day...
Monique is a little girl who strives to stand out and to be different. This is very difficult to do in her school where uniforms are standard and any variance is frowned on and banned by the principal. She keeps right on trying though, a hat one day, fancy glasses the next... Every one of these is vetoed at the school, except during recess or on the bus. What's worse, every new style she tries gets copied by all of the other kids in the school; flattering, but Monique wants to be unique.
One day, much to the delight of her teacher, Monique comes to school without any of the flashy distractions that she had been becoming known for. The teacher asks her to come up to the front of the class and talk about last night's homework. Proudly, she heads the class and blinds everyone with a fabulous new smile, the only one like it in the class!
