Where Does the Wind Blow?
by Lisa Woodworth
The author of this book wrote the story as a message to her son who, while growing up lived in New Zealand while she stayed behind in the U.S. Her message being that no matter how far apart in miles they may live, the wind that blows on each of their faces is the same...helping them to feel more unified.
Knowing this message makes the book a little bit sweeter for the reader, or for anyone who can relate. Unfortunately I think that for younger listeners, unless they share a similar situation would probably find the book to be a bit slow.
The story itself is more of a short poem than it is a story.
