Cranium Cariboo
by Sabrina ZuccaroThis is one of Cranium's great games especially designed for younger children. This game involves a treasure hunt that takes place on "Cariboo Island." It is a cooperative game where children take turns matching letters, numbers, colors, and shapes to unlock doors. Behind certain doors, there are "treasure balls" and the children collect them with the goal of eventually opening up the magical treasure chest.
My children loved playing this game. The game board was really enticing for them. They played together, helping one another pick the right door to uncover the treasure balls. My little one was very excited to see what was hiding inside the treasure chest and even after he found out, he continued to be excited to get the chest open.
This is an educational game because it teaches young children about letters, colors, numbers, and shapes. It is an easy game for them to both learn and to play. They could play with little adult supervision. I highly recommend this game.
