Or, your grandfather being Frankenstein's monster...tending bar! Would you like to see your best friend be Richard Simmons as a dentist? Well, it can happen in this wild game of improvisation.
Each player collects points by performing the crazy activities described on HA HA, HO HO, HEE HEE laughter cards. HA HA cards offer special challenges for group participation that are judged by the person in play who is called the Joker. HO HO cards have two options: Make Me Laugh or Make Everyone Laugh. If the Joker chooses the first, the other players get 30 seconds to make the Joker laugh. If the Joker chooses the latter, he/she gets 30 seconds to make the other players laugh by using the prompt on the card.
The HEE HEE cards are "Guess What I Am?" cards. The Joker has 30 seconds to perform the suggestion on the card trying to get the other players to guess his charade. The first player to guess what the Joker is gets points as well.
Special JESTER and HECKLE cards add to the fun with surprise twists! Just watch out or you may end up becoming the PARTY POOPER losing one point every turn that you spend as the Pooper! Before gameplay starts, choose how the game will be won -- either by points, time or laps. "Don't Make Me Laugh" 2nd Edition is a great family night tool to bring some laughs into your home at the end of a long day.
I feel this game is more for 14 years and up due to some of the subject matter and suggestions on the cards. But, 14 is the perfect age to engage teens in family play as many great discussions and life-long memories come from Family Game Night!
