Mighty Beanz 6-Pack Game Series 2

by Gnit P. Ikker

5 Mighty Beanz in these collector packs, which kids seem to love to play with, collect and trade.

My youngest of three cousins is 7 and he was ecstatic with the six-pack of Mighty Beanz that I gave him (amazing that I was able to generate that much joy, at a price point of only 6 bucks.) I asked him why he liked them so much, and he rattled off a list of answers from naming his top 3 favorite Beanz games, to trading them, to winning Beanz off his friends, to the character designs on the Beanz themselves and the various Beanz "teams" which he is aiming to collect and complete.

After further exploration and observation, it looked to me that not only were the Beanz games he and his friends were playing with fun, but they were simple. They would bend and reshape the rules of the games suggested in the mini-Mighty Beanz manual (comes with the set), and they would have a blast. Creative and collaborative... this here cousin likes it a lot!

Also, the Beanz characters are in themselves quite endearing, while the sub-teaming of characters can make for a very satisfied collector. What I mean to say is that as difficult as it would be for a child to collect all 60 Beanz, they can far more easily track down Beanz teams (12 to be had with 5 Beanz in each).

The shape of this toy is not for younger children, as it would pose a choking hazard. Beyond that, Mighty Beanz are mighty fun!
