MPAA Rating: NR (Not Rated)

Do you believe in werewolves? Grady's parents are scientists. Part of their research includes moving the family and a group of deer to a swamp where they will study how the deer might adapt to their new environment. Grady and his sister are are bored stiff in their new environment. What are they supposed to do in the middle of a swamp?

Soon, Grady meets a neighbor boy named Will. Will shares stories about how the old hermit who lives in the middle of the swamp is actually a werewolf. He tells Grady that many people have wandered into the forest, but have never made it back out.

It isn't long before dead wildlife start popping up around the area and Grady begins to believe Will's stories. Grady's parents however, believe that the culprit is actually Grady's new dog, Vandal.

Grady just knows that Vandal isn't responsible, but if there is a werewolf, then who is it? Is it the old hermit, or could it be someone much closer to Grady?

This movie, based on the book by R.L. Stine, is a suspenseful well-crafted mystery. It kept my entire family glued to our seats, clutching our blankets and covering our eyes. My children enjoyed the story, but what my daughter loved most, was the family dog, Vandal!
