This thirty minute video introduces your child to simple shapes and colours and associates them with musical instruments.
This is a great video. Although my daughter was not interested in it at first (9 months), it slowly grew on her as she got older. She is currently 19 months and loves to watch it!
Musical Instruments introduces your children to animals which are constructed from simple shapes (i.e. cat made from ovals and circles), and associates them with musical instruments, for example, the elephant as a guitar, and the frog as a clarinet.
Each segment is made up of multi-colored landscapes which sharply contrast the animals which star. The segments are short, but the little adventures that the animals have are fun to watch (monkey juggling, the cats in a boat)
The video can be watched alone or with a parent. It allows a lot of opportunity for interaction, from simple shape and color identification to instrument and song identification.
