There are poems written by twelve superstars in this book. Each page contains photographs of the player, and their poem, both of which are very telling as to that player's unique style. There are poems written by Allen Iverson, Chris Webber, and Jason Williams and, of course, Shaquille O'Neal.

My son enjoyed this book very much, especially the vivid illustrations. He had a difficult time understanding some of the language and the meaning behind certain poems; however, he did understand that each poem illustrated the author's love for the game of basketball.
