Tiny Tins Spoons Game
by Cheri SmolichUp to 8 players can participate. Each player takes a turn being the dealer. The object is to get 4 of a kind and then grab a spoon. You start slow, then pick up the speed as the game progresses. (The concept reminds me of musical chairs where the music gets faster and the chairs get removed).
I played with four players and started with 3 spoons. No one got 4 of a kind during the first round. But, you can get lucky and do it. Or, it could take several deals. At the end of each round, the one player left without a spoon is eliminated. Each succeeding round will be the same -- one less spoon and one eliminated player.
You will finally get down to one spoon and two players. Only one will get the spoon and be the winner. You can be sneaky or obvious about grabbing the spoons. It's hard to be sneaky when the other players are keeping their eyes on the spoons. But, it can be done once the speed picks up and players are trying to watch both cards and spoons.
Cards and spoons come in a colorful, decorated tin box which makes it easy to store or take anywhere. Instructions are included. Your card game fanatics will enjoy Tiny Tins Spoons Game for ages 8 and up. It's a good game for kids to play with siblings, friends, parents and grandparents.
