Teamwork and strategy, no batteries required!

If you're the kind of person who always likes to have something on hand, this is a great travel version of Chinese Checkers!

It's compact without being impossibly miniature, and when closed up tight it can fit into the bag of any young traveler. The young nomads in my life always prefer to hold their own toys, and this fits their needs and thus lightens my load.

The board is small, and is suitable for plane and train tables. The pegs fit snugly into the board, so turbulence and its cousins can't easily crash the party. The pegs have their own little pouch, so cleanup is simple as well.

Tips

Small board = small pegs. Better for those with proficient fine motor skills.

Pros

Is no nuisance whatsoever. Games that require rudimentary strategy without the use of batteries, solar power and animated artillery are always a hit with me. Can work just as well with 2 as with 4 players.

Cons

Not recommended for the beach. The pegs' monochromatic shades can easily get lost in the sand. Also, when the game is sealed, it looks an awful lot like a CD carrier.
