Crash Nitro Kart
Crash and the Gang are kidnapped by Emperor Velo and they must race their way to freedom. Crash and Team Bandicoot go up against Dr. Cortex and his team to see who will face Velo in the final showdown.
In order to face Velo you must win every race in the Circuit which spans many alien worlds, and features many of the Emperor's toughest competitors.
You can race through 6 different game types:
Adventure - You race in all the different arenas and tracks, collecting trophies, keys and tokens. Single player mode only.
Race Time Trial - A single player game only where you race against your time, trying to beat your best. You have 3 laps to race around the track with no other competitors. A ghost is shown to indicate if you are set to beat your fastest time.
Lap Time Trial - The same as Race Time Trial except that you are trying to get the best time for one single lap.
Quick race - Pick your track, pick your racer, and go, go, go! This is single player only.
Team Race - A regular race but you team up with a computer controlled partner. You must work together to win the race. This is a single player mode only.
Cup Tournament - Get points for winning races on three different tracks. At the end of the season the player with the most points wins the cup. This Tournament can be played by up to four players.
The music and the graphics are mediocre, but suit the purpose of this game. It is easy to control the racers, and to move around the course. Keep moving at all times, and be sure to get boosters to win the big race.
