SSX 3
EA Sports BIG has done it again with "SSX3", the latest in snowboarding games. You can practice your riding skills in 8 different events and compete among many boarders. SSX3 has the new EA SPORTS BIG online feature, so with the right adapter you can play over the internet.
Choose from one of the characters, each with their own speciality, and simply ride down the mountain kicking big air, performing tricks, knocking off other riders and going wild.
Of the 8 different events, there are the freeriding events, where you have to get down the mountain while perfroming tricks in order to rack up as many points as possible.
You have racing events where time is what matters, but style points are important too. The more points you get from performing tricks, the more options you can unlock in the game. You can try your hand at the super pipe where it is all about the tricks.
SSX3 offers a great variety of challenges for the young snowboarder (and no need for a helmet). The basic controls of the game are easy to learn. When it comes to the tricks, practice is what will help you master the board grab.
The graphics for SSX3 are so realistic you may need to turn your heat on! The music that is played can be a little distracting but it fits the snowboarding motif.
